My DAK squad. Very pleased with them. Took a photo with them along my Panzer II from Warlord Games. Guess they match quite well. Last picture is taken along with my italians. The paintwork on my DAK makes my italians look goofy and cartoonish.
Blitzkrieg Miniatures is showing some upcoming miniatures on their facebook page. Apparently they are releasing airplanes in scale 1/56 and the Perry twins are making the ground and air crew for the planes. Also 88's are coming too. Exciting news!
Also found out that Musketeer Miniatures have their King Charles XII for the Great Northern war range on their workbench and perhaps I'll see an WIP this month.
Got started on a set of Warriors of Minas Tirith a bought a while ago. Bought a set of these when they just released but my painting skills weren't up to the task of making them justice but this time I think I will succed. Also got some new Rohan Royal guard and dwarves of Erebor and Grimhammers. They look great!
My DAK infantry. Waited over a year for them and it took me almost as long too start painting them :P Haha! Great mini's though I had to use parts from two sprues too make one platoon with riflemen. Don't know if I made some construction mistakes or something but at least one could have been given riflearms for at least all the bodies on one sprue.
I e-mailed Perry miniatures year ago and asked about perhaps any plans on peasants for their Agincourt to Orlean range. Just found these on their page today. They look great and I hope they will sculpt some charging or perhaps fightin' peasants :)
On my painting desk I got GNW russians, some DAK troopers and Warriors of Minas Tirith.
As you can see on the pictures below there are truly some exciting news from the Perry Twins. Especially the Marder II and the angry peasants. Hope they make peasants for their Agincourt to Orleans range!
Kept myself busy with some Rohan warriors. Got some paint on the commanders. Laid my paint covered on some Perry crusader infantry and sculpt some capes and exchanged the shields and some weapons on them to make them more rohirrimish( is that a word? XD ) Anyhow Im quite happy with the capes as I am no expert sculptor :P
